As an abstract painter my work expresses the movement of energy through space in both the natural and imagined worlds. Spontaneous brushstrokes reflect my states of mind, emotions and memories of place.

I love the luminosity and rich color palette that oil paints offer. My years as a potter led me to the natural medium of oil paint deepening my reverence for earth based materials and the aliveness they reveal.
