Brendan Kramp is a Minneapolis-based painter working primarily in oil. He draws inspiration from his daily surroundings and the urban environment to create detailed paintings with a strong sense of atmosphere, story, and light. He also takes images from his travels and translates them into mid- and large-format paintings in ways that make each place seem familiar and personal. Many of his works include people and a narrative almost like a film still for a movie poster. Brendan has been painting since childhood and relocated to Minneapolis after living abroad for 10 years. His work can be found in the Price Krishnan Gallery on the Northrup King Building's first floor.
