I aim to nurture a love of and connection with nature in my viewers. I have found my heart and body drawn towards our lakes. They hold our memories, joys, laughter, and tears. They provide space and comfort. In 2017 I discovered an old fishing map in my family's shed and created a piece using watercolor and our lake’s water depicting the varying depths, inking each contour line as I visually explored the waters in a new way.

I continue to create watercolor and ink paintings showing the bathymetry, or depths, of our beloved lakes. When possible, I use water from the lake with the goal of nurturing a love of our earth.
