My art captures the breadth of the human experience. I capture the fleeting images of everyday life and the artifacts of civilization. I am a visual journalist and archaeologist working in oil paint. My paintings of daily life, and of objects past and present highlight our individuality, diversity, interconnectedness, and impermanence. The interplay of shadow and light, large planes, and angles reminds us that there is always a different perspective, and more to the story than meets the eye.
