Linda Seebauer Hansen Studio

Good design - well crafted, functional, and genuine, is integral in my work. By combining mastery of a strong craft tradition with an innovative approach, my aim is to capture moments in time or represent an abstract story through form, line, pattern and balance. I am a curious person which means I easily get absorbed in the qualities and physics of materials, technical challenges, and surface textures. I am fascinated with reclaiming pieces and end cuts as I work, and then melt and mill them into new sheet or wire. The beauty of the metal in it various states amazes me. Plus, I feel good about doing my part to be environmentally conscious of what goes into each piece I create.
