Elisa Lux is a Columbian native and self-taught painter. She is often lost in the magic of color, dreaming of faraway lands, flower covered mountains, old churches, traditions and superstitions. Fairy tales, innocence and poems are her inspiration
With many layers of acrylic paint, she builds the textures slowly by pouring, scattering, blotting, using her fingers and tools to scrape, allowing what is underneath to appear.
