The past two years we have spent together have been an unusual time, during which many of us have done deep dives into ourselves, our relationships, our home and our creative lives.
Throughout this journey we have gained new appreciation for the simple things in life, meandering walks, gardening, sharing home-cooked meals, organizing sock drawers and keeping our sourdough starter flourishing. But perhaps most importantly, our eyes were opened to the experiences of others and the importance of community, and we found a continued passion for all things close to home.
With these lessons in mind, the Northrup King Artist Community invites you to our SweetArts Salon this February, for an exhibition featuring works that showcase our vision of what it means to draw strength, hope and resilience from our community, close to home. Come to surround yourself with inspiration, participate by adding your own thoughts, recollections and hopes to our interactive floating hearts installation, or find your own work of art to fall in love with this February at the Northrup King Building.
