Find Your Focus With Art: Taking a Brain Vacation

During this art-making class, you will learn how to take a mini brain-vacation using thte scribble drawing technique. Taking brain-vacations can help you to clear your mind so that you can refocus on the task at hand with new energy. Mini brain-vacations are a great way to reduce stress. Transcend Your Inner Critic

All of us are stopped in our tracks at some point by our inner voice of self judgment. Using art, you will "meet" your inner critic and visualize how you would like to transform this critic. Drawing from the Model
The group generally starts with five 2-minute poses to warm up and then moves to a 10-minute pose. The rest of the poses are 20-minute poses. Sessions are 2.5 hours and meet on most Wednesday nights. Digital Camera Classes
Icebox Gallery (#442) recently teamed up with Digital Photo Academy and Panasonic to host beginning and intermediate camera classes. Beginner classes are 3-hours in length and designed to increase the student's enjoyment of point and shoot cameras. Cost is $50. The 4-hour Intermediate Class is designed to help students learn from the greater power, versatility and precision of Digital SLR Cameras. Instructors will also provide tips on building a camera/lens system that suits the students individual interests. Cost is $60. Register here.

True Self Collage

We all have a True Self that sometimes becomes buried in our day to day lives and stresses. During this collage-making class, you will become reacquainted with that True Self, while also creating a visual representation of your True Self that will serve as a reminder of who you really are.
