Though largely self-taught, Susan studied drawing at the Art Students League and oil painting through the School of Visual Arts while living and working as a film editor in New York City during the 1980’s and early 1990’s. Since moving to Minneapolis, she has painted unexpected local and other U.S. regional landscapes and subjects.

Her paintings were selected for the Twin Cities 2007 American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Showplace Home on Summit Avenue in St. Paul.

Susan has shown her work in several Twin Cities group shows and most recently, exhibited at Rosalux Gallery in Minneapolis.
