Kirsten Walstead makes hand sculpted and hand pressed bas-relief ceramic tiles. Together with her Mother, Norma Hanlon they created the company known as SoMi Tileworks. They produce tiles suitable for installation in kitchens, bathrooms and many other projects indoors and out. Their tiles can create a one of a kind accent to any tiling project. They have been making their line of ceramic tiles since 1996 and sell their work through art fairs around the country, galleries, gift shops and through tile showrooms.
