Michelle McCreery was born in Lexington, Missouri. She has been a resident of Missouri, Virginia and Maryland and currently resides in Minneapolis with her spouse and two sons. She studied at University of Minnesota, (MFA 1993); Glasgow School of Art (1991, 1989); Central Missouri State University (BFA Cum Laude, 1980). She has exhibited in Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, and Iowa. Solo exhibitions include Northfield Arts Guild, Concordia Gallery, Bloomington Art Center, and Katherine Nash Gallery. Her work is included in private collections here and abroad. She has served as Adjunct Faculty of Foundation Studies at College of Visual Arts since 1996.
