Kimberlee Joy Roth: B.S Physics- North Park University- 1990; MFA- University of Minnesota- Twin Cities- 2007. Upon receiving the Nash Purchase Prize, two sets from her MFA Thesis Exhibition are in the Frederick R. Weisman Art Museum’s permanent collection. She has exhibited nationally in juried ceramic exhibitions and had a solo exhibition at The Northern Clay Center- 2008. Her forms are hand carved from Styrofoam. She fabricates her plaster slip-casting molds, and formulates her porcelain slip and high-fire glazes. Roth is the technician and gallery assistant for the Art and Art History Department at Saint Catherine University in Saint Paul.
