Jeannine Spooner Kitzhaber works primarily in mixed media. Her work is about place, land and home. She uses a variety of visual methods to speak of place, such as color and pattern. Maps, doilies and fabric can be found in her work, as well. A BFA and MFA graduate from the University of MN, she has studied and worked with some of the most accomplished artists and instructors in the Midwest. She currently teaches Art at the University of MN, Anoka-Ramsey Community College and UW River Falls.
