Heather has over 30 years of craft schizophrenia and fiber frenzy in her past. Her stashes of polymer clay, fabrics, yarns, wool roving, and assorted other art materials inspire her explorations and help her develop practical yet funky multimedia art pieces and jewelry. Heather uses whatever medium fills the need to express her intent: knitting, crocheting, needle and wet felting, quilting, and polymer clay techniques.
Lately, she has been working on more advanced color and texture techniques to bring together her media in seamless and exciting ways as she moves further from her computer background and develops her creative side. She is very interested in the role of creativity and art in our growth as involved, passionate human beings.
The Northshore of Minnesota is a constant source of renewal for me, but Chautauqua, NY, New England, Canyonlands and the northern California coast all have their special places in Heather’s heart and provide inspiration and breathing room for her soul.Studio Number: 155
