The Amias Project by Another Land works with Barabaig villages in Africa to design and create hand-made, fair-trade jewelry and accessories inspired by traditional Barabaig fashions. The project aims to uplift and empower traditional culture. It also helps generate significant income and educational opportunities for disadvantaged communities. In the language of the Barabaig, Amias means beautiful. Each items tells the story of Africa, hope and something beautiful.
