Alison has been an artist for as long as she can remember. As a child, she would silently critique color choices made by corporations. She would squint at broken glass to make fractured light dance on nearby surfaces. And her favorite, stirring petroleum floating on puddles, marveling at the eddies and colors created.
Today, color, light and form move on her canvas. Her use of transparent color, large canvas and generous strokes combine into a bountiful explosion of emotion. Abstract and expressionism merge into creations that evoke a deep and vital experience, inviting further exploration of one’s self.Studio Number: 171
